Kenny Thomson (1944 – 2013) - Obituary
by Stuart Thomson
I would like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone for cards, messages and words of support received by the family, since the passing of Kenny Thomson on 5th April. It came as a great shock to us all. The family also wish tom express their gratitude to everyone for their attendance at the funeral service on 17th April. Special thanks should also be said to Colin, Ian and Linton, who performed so well under such difficult circumstances.
We were quite overwhelmed by the number of people who came to pay their respects. To all who contributed to the collection, thank you very much indeed. Between the collection on the day plus late additions, a total of £900 was raised, which was divided between Cancer Care UK and Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
Finally I would also like to thank those who penned such fitting tributes to Kenny, which were included in the June issue.
